Totem Bar is the place to while away the hours, either as an escape from the heat of the sun during the day (it’s situated under the shade of a canopy of trees on the beach) or to watch the sunsetting with a chilled drink to end the day. Burgers, fries, club sandwiches feature high on the bar menu here.
What you can do at Moofushi
Many people come to the Maldives to learn to dive or to indulge their love of the sport. At Moofushi, you can experience one of the finest house reefs in the region. For newbies, the warm clear waters – visibility is 20-25 metres – make it the perfect spot to get to grips with diving and watch the tropical fish, manta rays, lion fish and scorpion fish swim by. If you’re not quite ready for diving, snorkeling is also excellent.
For more experienced divers, you have the choice of over 20 dive spots. Whale sharks are high on the list of incredible things to see here, and night dives are another favourite.
Don’t miss the spa
When you’re ready for a change of pace, head to the spa. Many guests on Trip Advisor mention the glass floor – it’s a special experience looking down into the sea watching the fish swim by while enjoying a massage.
