Self-care isn’t just a one-time thing or a luxury reserved for special occasions. Forget #SelfCareSundays – do something for yourself every day of the week!
It’s important to incorporate smaller doses of ‘me-time’ into our daily lives to help maintain both a healthy mind and body. And the world agrees! Google searches for ‘self-care’ have risen by 25% over the past year.

Give yourself the attention you deserve by nurturing and replenishing yourself to help you stay at your optimum emotionally, physically and mentally.
How can you change your ways to give yourself much-needed self-care time? We’ve got some ideas…
-
Switch off autopilot
Many of us go about our daily lives on autopilot, not paying great attention to the tasks we’re doing or the experiences we’re having. Take something simple and really dedicate your mind to it.
Go on… dive in!
Our divine bath experience at Constance Prince Maurice is the perfect example of taking something ordinary and making it extra special. Indulge in a long, hot bath with aromas and soft music. Will you choose the rejuvenating ‘Spirit of Lotus’ experience, or perhaps the calming ‘Lavender Dreams’ package…
Use your ‘me-time’ to rejuvenate your body and mind
Some herbs smell great, while others can have a medicinal effect too – choose them according to your needs, soak in and inhale the healing aromas. Why not make your herbal bath part of your weekly routine?
-
Be selfish
Try to do something each day, big or small, just because it makes you happy. Love a lie in? Treat yourself to one, maybe even with breakfast in bed!
Why change out of your pyjamas when you can enjoy views like this right from your bed at Constance Tsarabanjina Madagascar?
Big wine fan? Indulge in a special bottle! Treat yourself by choosing from the incredible selection at our superb Blue Penny Wine Cellar. Will you choose a bottle of Pessac-Léognan, Château Haut-Brion 1993 or maybe an extra special «S» de Salon Blanc de Blancs Brut- Mesnil-sur-Oger 1966?

Unplug and unwind
In our modern daily lives, most of us are constantly switched on, always waiting for the next mobile notification to arrive. It’s important to give yourself a break every once in a while, and what better way to do that then to connect with nature?
At Constance Tsarabanjina Madagascar, you can tour the island exploring all that nature has to offer. Fancy some whale watching or bird watching? Madagascar is famous for its unique wildlife – will you spot the Red Cardinal Fody or the Malagasy Pond Heron?

Or how about a guided walk through the protected indigenous Ngezi rainforest in the north of Pemba Island, close to Constance Aiyana? You’ll definitely feel far away from emails in this slice of paradise.
Maybe you’ll spot the famous Colobus monkey…
Explore the wonder of the Seychelles with a visit to the Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve and discover unique natural treasures that are found nowhere else in the world. Stay at Constance Lemuria Seychelles to be within easy reach of this true Garden of Eden.

Escape your comfort zone
Take a leap out of the day-to-day and try something completely new! How about diving? If you’ve never dived before, take a beginner’s course and get your PADI qualification, which you can then use for future trips. And if you’re more of an experienced diver, head to new sites where you’ll experience awe-inspiring sights…
What will you see?
There are plenty of other fantastic activities to throw yourself into too. How about paddle boarding, sailing or kayaking? You might just find your new favourite hobby!

Head to the sun

Give back
Get even more out of your holiday by giving back to the wonderful communities and environments that you’re enjoying.
At Constance Aiyana Pemba, Zanzibar, join a snorkelling excursion to the Marine Conservation area or explore Swahili culture on a bicycle tour of Makangale Village. When you join these excursions, a portion of the cost is donated to help local projects and people.
The waters around Pemba island are renowned for their fantastic dive sites
And if you love nature, why not join our coral conservation team at Constance Moofushi Maldives to help preserve beautiful coral reefs for generations to come?
Look out for the construction of coral scapers!
However you choose to do it, make sure to find some time for yourself whenever you can, and truly enjoy it.

April 15, 2018 at 7:09 amHave you considered a loyalty programme? For the group rather than one hotel ! Most groups give recognition of guests who return to the chain /group andnot just the same hotel within the group ! It would be nice to see some recognition for returning !
Hope it’s something you can implement in the future . Some gift /reward would make returning guests feel more special .
