Spicy foods have even been proven beneficial to speed up metabolism, increase blood flow and promote good feelings! ✌️

To get you inspired, we have collected our best hot & spicy dishes curated and served by our exceptional chefs across Constance Hotels & Resorts. You can be sure your palate will be overflowing with flavours!

1.Hot and Spicy Grilled Kadai King Prawn

Made with 4 King Prawns, marinated in ginger & garlic paste, with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, chili powder and cashew nuts. These hot and spicy prawn recipe from Constance Prince Maurice will be sure to leave you feeling the heat. Make sure to check out the full recipe here!

2. Thai Prawns in Coconut Sauce

Taking hot and spicy to a tropical level. These Thai prawns come marinated roast ginger & garlic, lemongrass, kaffir lime, Thai chili paste and coconut milk. Don’t forget to cut bell pepper and onion into rough pieces and sauté the vegetables, fry the prawns and add to the vegetables. Then, as the recipe required, add the sauce and garnish with chives. We can almost taste them now…

3. Neua Yang Jim Jaew

We know this recipe will tickle your taste buds. Featuring Thai spicy grilled beef with sautéed asparagus, mushroom and broccoli. Our Neua Yang Jim Jaew recipe features a mix of Thai spicy sauce ingredients combined with fish sauce, lime juice and chili to make it sweet, sour and spicy. After having the beef marinated in the spicy sauce and grilled, the dish is served with vegetables and steam rice. Tasty eh?!

4. Spicy pork spare ribs

If you like the feeling of having sticky fingers, this Spicy Pork Ribs recipe is for you! Made with a mix of sweet flavours and 5 different spices, the ribs come marinated with salt, pepper and topped with a honey mixture. This dish comes best served with a glass of white wine and an ocean view!

5. Red prawns and Thai Curry Cappuccino

Get ready to be blown away by this recipe where east meets west culture. Designed by our Chef at Constance Lemuria this Red Prawns and Thai Curry Cappuccino recipe is made with 4 fried shelled king prawns immerged in a cream made of coconut milk, red curry paste, tomato paste, cloves and dhal. Try this recipe and bring your cooking skills to the next level!

6. Sakay

Sakay is a traditional Madagascar recipe for a classic relish of hot chillies ginger and garlic in oil. Typically served in individual portions or as an accompaniment to main dishes. Very easy to make, all you have to do is place all the ingredients in a pestle and mortar or in a food processor and render to a paste. Check out here all the ingredients you need. You’ll see, the food comes alive with a little spoonful of sakay!

So, whether you try these dishes at our resorts, or make them at home – all they need to be is tasty!
