Traditional Spanish tapas is about food created for sharing with friends so what better place to enjoy it than the Jahaz Bar at Constance Halaveli.
This week guests at Halaveli will be able to enjoy authentic Spanish tapas created by our executive chef, Spaniard Jordi Vila and our very own homemade Sangria at the Jahaz Bar from 11am to 4pm every day.
‘Tapas are a wonderful and sociable way to eat,’ explain’s Jordi, ‘this food is like life, best shared with friends and loved ones, it’s about sharing, talking and trying new things.’
The tapas menu reflects what Jordi sees as the evolution of tapas, ‘into an entire and sophisticated cuisine reflecting the diversity of ingredients Spain, and the rest of the world, has to offer’.
Highlights of the menu include:
- Anchovies, red pepper and aubergine
- Manchego cheese, rosemary and honey
- Calamar a la Andaluza with squid ink aioli
- Jamón Serrano Platter
- Gambas al Ajillo
For those looking to create a taste of Spain at home, the bar tenders at Jahaz have shared their recipe for the perfect Halaveli sangria.
