Our first guests to check into the newly refurbished Constance Le Prince Maurice were Jacky and Pierrette Beasse.

Having travelled extensively across Europe from their home in Champagne Ardenne, France they had never flown by plane before visiting Le Prince Maurice in September.
Why Constance Le Prince Maurice?
‘We have visited many other European countries but this is the first time we have travelled by plane. We waited a long time because we wanted to be sure that when we did we would experience the best.’
Planning the trip of a lifetime is not easy and Mrs Beasse wanted to be sure that they got exactly what they were looking for.
‘I looked everywhere on the internet, I went on different websites such as Trip Advisor as well as discussing different destinations with people on forums. We also had friends who came here and recommended Le Prince Maurice hotel.’
They weren’t disappointed. ‘We have many words to describe the hotel such as ‘luxurious’, ‘elegant’, ‘serene’. While we have been here we have been so relaxed it’s been like floating on a cloud. From the moment we arrived we were well taken care of and received a great welcome, much better than we had ever experienced in a French hotel – in fact they could learn a thing or two from Le Prince Maurice.’
The couple made the most of their time in Mauritius. ‘We are enjoying the beach and the boathouse, where we went for a ride on the glass-bottom boat. We also enjoyed the new swimming pool – we were alone so it was even better. We have taken walks in the beautiful gardens as well as several outings.’
And the best thing about the holiday…
They find it hard to sum up what part of their holiday they have most enjoyed. ‘Our suite, the décor of the hotel, its charm and its surroundings are all so beautiful. We have really enjoyed the calm of the hotel and especially that of the restaurant L’Archipel. We would also like to say a special word for Linda who was the first person to serve us on our arrival, she knew exactly how to make us comfortable and we really appreciated it.’
