Where to eat and drink
There’s a choice of restaurants and bars here from La Citronelle buffet serving breakfast and dinner, to the Indigo restaurant where Chef Alexis Voisin has created a fusion menu of European and Asian flavours.
The new sand floor Blu Bar is situated next to Indigo right on the beach, offering a chilled out vibe by day and the perfect spot for enjoying a few cocktails and listening to music once the sun sets on the day.
The popular Deer Hunter restaurant on the edge of the Legend golf course has always been a magical place for an evening meal. Book a table, enjoy the mild spice of the Mauritian cuisine and watch for the deer as they wander across the course in the twilight.
Fine dining enthusiasts should head to the Blue Penny with its vast wine cellar and elegant mood.
Which accommodation to choose
If you’re travelling as a couple, the junior suites or prestige rooms look out across the pools or the beach. For families, the villas are a great choice where your personal villa butler will make sure you have everything you need. Enjoy a private BBQ, dip in the pool or just take your time over breakfast before heading to the beach.
If it’s all out luxury you’re after, the Presidential Villa is secluded at the far end of the resort offering spacious accommodation, a beautiful outdoor dining area and views out to the beach and ocean beyond.
Choice of activities
Golf is a big draw at Constance Belle Mare Plage, with two 18-hole championship golf courses – the Legend and the Links. Book a lesson with a pro, take your time as you perfect your game on the challenging fairways with an offshore breeze.
The USpa at Constance Belle Mare Plage offers the Ymalia range and renowned feet and hand treatments created by celebrity podiatrist Brice Nicham.
Diving is also very popular, with the Blue Tribe team experienced at taking rookie divers as well as those more experienced. If you’re not quite ready for diving, you can go out with the team and enjoy an afternoon’s snorkeling instead.
