1. How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Diligent, full of inspiration, and meticulous.
2. What inspires your work?
Natural landscapes, plants, herbs, flowers and animals.
3. Tell us about your journey to where you are now (as an artist)?
I was born and raised in an artistic family, I studied Chinese painting at a young age. Afterwards, I began to learn Western paintings and graphic design for a long time as well.
After years and years practicing, the most distinctive feature of my works is drawing from nature by combining the best of Chinese ink painting and Western style painting. Thanks to those who enjoy my pieces of works and I’m honoured to have my works listed in Christie’s auctions.
4. What were most looking forward to whilst visiting the island?
I was looking forward to experiencing the natural ecological environment in Indian Ocean area in person.
5. What intrigued you about Constance Hotels & Resorts?
One of my friends has been to Constance Hotels. Her introduction and compliment on the service, activities and culinary culture aroused my attention and interest.
