Le Barachois at Constance Le Prince Maurice

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the new eatery at Burberry will reflect its quintessentially British style by serving classic British fare such as afternoon teas and lobster with chips, all made from excellent quality, fresh, seasonal ingredients.

The trend for stylish brands extending into food offerings seems to be expanding with Heal’s the designer furniture retailer also opening its own café this week in its London store.

Food with style at Constance

At Constance we’ve always understood the important connection between style and food. It has been our mission to create restaurants that reflect the essence of their island locations through elegant local dishes given a sophisticated modern twist and served amidst refined, stylish interiors.

Le Barachois at Constance Le Prince Maurice floats on platforms on a Mauritian lagoon with its décor inspired by the local environment. To this natural beauty we added a touch of Constance style with an elegant wooden gangplank leading to the restaurant, lit by lanterns in the evening, which winds its way through the beautiful mangroves. The food, inspired by the water it rests on, places an emphasis on fresh local seafood.

Jing at Constance Halaveli

Modern Maldivian style

Style and elegance play a central role in the dining experience at Jing at Constance Halaveli. The restaurant, situated halfway along the picturesque jetty, has a unique ocean panorama, which we have been able to make the most of by creating a curved wooden structure with open aspect so that every table has a spectacular ocean view. Modern Maldivian style is embraced here from the unique dhoni-shaped dining room with its stunning high-rafted, palm-thatched ceiling to the woven rattan chairs. The food expresses a contemporary style of Asian-fusion in which traditional local dishes are given a modern European twist.

The Beach Bar at Constance Lémuria combines the stunning natural beauty of the granite rocks around the bay of Petite Anse Kerlan with the elegance of rich natural woods and high-rafted ceilings to create a stylish beach vibe restaurant with a view.
