Milkshakes are a sweet cold beverage made from ice-cream, milk and come in a variety of flavours. Here at Constance Hotels & Resorts we are big fans of milkshakes and think they are the perfect drink to enjoy whilst soaking up the summer sun on one of our beautiful beaches or at the comfort of your homes.

Here are our  unique and delicious milkshake recipes for you to stick your straws into!

Chocolate Milkshake Kissed By Chilli

Constance Belle Mare Plage invites guests to seize the opportunity to try new things – whether it is relaxing on a beautiful beach, working out at the gym or enjoying a new exotic chocolate milkshake with a twist.

CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE KISSED BY CHILLI at Constance Belle Mare Plage

If you are up for something exotic, special from Mauritius, the Chocolate Milkshake kissed by chilli is definitely for you.

Ingredients: 

  • 20cl milk
  • 1 bsp chilly powder Espelette
  • 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
  • 4cl  cinnamon syrup
  • A drizzle of chocolate syrup

Method: 

  1. Place 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream in a blender container
  2. Add 20cl of milk followed by the cinnamon syrup
  3. Add the chilly powder
  4. Cover and blend until smooth 
  5. Slowly pour the milkshake into a tall decorative glass
  6. Lastly, drizzle with chocolate syrup 

Don’t worry it is not hot but just ends with a spicy note at the end 😉

Salty Caramel

For those who love the ridiculously indulgent, delicious taste of salted and swirls of caramel, this milkshake recipe straight from the Constance Ephelia Seychelles is for you: Salty Caramel Milkshake.

SALTY CARAMEL at Constance Ephelia

Ingredients: 

  • 3 scoops of caramel ice-cream
  • 150ml of milk 
  • 60ml of salted caramel sauce 
  • Pinch of nut crunch powder 

Method: 

  1. Place 3 scoops of caramel ice-cream in a blender container
  2. Add 150ml of milk and 60ml of salted caramel sauce 
  3. Cover and blend until smooth 
  4. Rim the top of the glass with nut crunch power 
  5. Slowly pour the milkshake into a tall decorative glass

With a unique and appetising taste, the earliest roots of salted caramel can be traced back to Brittany in France, where chocolatier, Henri Le Roux, pioneered the art form. Offering both sweet and salty flavours, it’s no wonder salted caramel is added to most delicious treats across the world (including our milkshake!)

Marshmallowie

If you want to please your little bud, try the other winning recipe from Constance Ephelia. It is a special blend made with homemade vanilla ice cream and marshmallows.

Afterall, who doesn’t love the squishy texture of marshmallow?

MARSHMALLOWIE at Constance Ephelia

Ingredients:

  • 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream 
  • 150ml milk 
  • 8 pieces of marshmallow

Method: 

  1. Place 3 scoops of homemade vanilla ice-cream in a blender container 
  2. Add 150ml of milk 
  3. Top with 8 pieces of yummy marshmallows

Did you know that the marshmallow candy originated in ancient Egypt ? 🤔

Yes, it started out as a honey candy that was flavoured and thickened with Marsh-Mallow plant sap.

Back in the Egyptian days, it was a privilege to have marshmallows and was strictly reserved for gods and royalty.

Chocolate and Cherry

Classic lovers, you are served with our rich, indulgent chocolate milkshake recipes. Our first recipe, topped off with a sweet cherry and served at Constance Halaveli, it is simply D-elicious!

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE at Constance Halaveli

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream
  • 100ml of chocolate sauce 
  • 200ml of milk 
  • Cherries to garnish

Method:

  1. Place 2 scoops of ice-cream in a blender container 
  2. Add 50ml of chocolate sauce
  3. Add 200ml of milk 
  4. Add a few ice cubes to chill the drink 
  5. Cover and blend until smooth
  6. Garnish the glass with chocolate sauce 
  7. Slowly pour the milkshake into the glass
  8. Lastly, garnish with a cherry on top and serve

Double Chocolate

Our second chocolate milkshake recipe from Constance Moofushi is sure to make your taste buds tingle! Combined with chocolate syrup and dark chocolate chips, this is one milkshake that you won’t forget in a hurry!

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE at Constance Moofushi

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream 
  • 30ml of chocolate syrup
  • 80ml of milk 
  • 6-7 pieces of dark chocolate chips 

To garnish: 

  • Chocolate brownie
  • Pistachio
  • Icing sugar
  • Vanilla or chocolate ice-cream

Method: 

  1. Place 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream in a blender container 
  2. Add 30ml of chocolate syrup
  3. Add 80ml of milk 
  4. Add dark chocolate pieces 
  5. Cover and blend until smooth
  6. Top with vanilla or chocolate ice cream 
  7. Garnish with a small brownie slice, pistachio and icing sugar

Chocolate and Pistachio

And if you prefer your milkshake with a hint of sweetness and a little nuttiness, Constance Prince Maurice’s classic chocolate milkshake with almond milk is your call.

CHOCOLATE AND PISTACHIO at Constance Prince Maurice

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate ice cream
  • Vanilla syrup
  • Pistachio
  • Almond milk
  • Whipped cream

Method:

  1. Place 2 scoops of chocolate ice-cream in a blender container 
  2. Add 30ml of vanilla syrup
  3. Add 80ml of  almond milk 
  4. Cover and blend until smooth
  5. Top with whipped cream
  6. Garnish with pistachio

Vanilla

With a laid back atmosphere and unspoilt location, Constance Tsarabanjina has created a smooth and creamy vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits for guests to enjoy whilst taking in the break-taking scenery.

VANILLA at Constance Tsarabanjina

Ingredients:

  • 5 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
  • Milk
  • 1 Vanilla rod from Madagascar
  • Chocolate chip

Method: 

  1. Place 5 scoops of vanilla ice-cream into a blender container 
  2. Add milk 
  3. Add vanilla pod 
  4. Cover and blend until smooth
  5. Carefully pour into tall glasses and add the chocolate chip
