Beachwear

Always one of LFW’s hottest tickets, the Burberry Prorsum catwalk show is sure to be attended by fashion-loving celebrities and the industry’s top editors and commentators. The current Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear collection features a range of sheer, floaty, printed dresses with ruched or tiered tulle, and provides plenty of inspiration for those looking for statement beachwear or evening wear for a holiday in the tropics.

Accessories

On the accessories front, tote bags are still the ideal hold-all for a full-on shopping spree or a day at the beach. This season’s collections reflect a trend for metallics, bold prints and graphic images, as demonstrated by the Spring 15 range by luxury designer Anya Hindmarch, whose selection of covetable travel products – including passport covers, wash bags and weekend luggage – is always top of our wishlist.

Swimwear

As highlighted in our recent feature, this season’s major swimwear trend is for Mondrian-esque block colour prints, a signature style of Romanian designer Roksanda Ilincic who was named Businesswoman of the Year at Harper’s Bazaar UK Women of the Year Awards in November 2014. The ROKSANDA label’s LFW outing is sure to be attended by many of Ilincic’s celebrity followers – she counts Michelle Obama, Cate Blanchett and Keira Knightly among her VIP following – so keep a close eye on her February 23rd show to see which of her designs will be influencing the high street this autumn and winter.

Shoes

How best to show off your post-pedicure toes after a treatment in one of our luxury spas? When it comes to shoes we’re pleased to report that this season’s top trends are versatile enough to be teamed with the aforementioned floaty dresses for the perfect daywear combo, but stylish enough to be dressed up for elegant evenings at your favourite Constance resort.

We’re talking about footwear that’s predominantly flat and eminently wearable, often embellished with fringing, feathers, criss-cross lacing and multiple buckles. For inspiration look to established labels like Versace, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana and Kate Spade, or check out the shoe collections from young or emerging talent designers like Sophia Webster and Ashley Williams.

Jewellery

The right piece of jewellery can finish off an outfit to stunning effect and we’re proud to offer locally made jewellery items in some of our in-resort boutiques.

In terms of current jewellery trends, Bohemian, ethereal, nature and wildlife-inspired designs continue to be popular, like the creations of British jewellery designer Daisy Knights, whose work is liberally littered with dolphin, snake, feather and shark tooth motifs. We’re also coveting the designs of London-born designer Alice Cicolini, whose exquisite, multi-coloured rings, earrings and necklaces are influenced by the architecture and patterns of the Silk Route. Look out for both on this season’s LFW catwalks.
