A new state-of-the-art wine cellar, stocked with exclusive wines from around the world, is to open at Constance Le Prince Maurice.

Set to become one of the best stocked wine cellars in Mauritius, there’s capacity for more than 15,000 bottles.
Guests will be able to visit the wine cellar, situated next to L’Archipel restaurant. We’re holding regular wine tastings with our expert sommeliers, where you can explore the world of wine and sample delicious cheeses and deli treats.
Some of the fabulous wines stocked here include:
- Champagne Salon 1966 from Mesnil sur ogier, France
- Vin de Pays de l’Hérault Domaine de la Grange des Peres 2004/05/06/07/08/09, France
- Swartland – Mullineux Schist Syrah 2010 – the first vintage of one exclusive wine, South Africa
The new wine cellar is air-conditioned and humidified at 85% to maintain perfect storage and maturation of the wine. Beautifully designed, the cellar has an arched ceiling with brick tiles, marble floor and solid wood used throughout.
