Enjoy refreshments on the beach at Constance Le Prince Maurice

Destination Weddings & Honeymoons featured an interview with Kimberly Wyatt talking about her dream honeymoon at Constance Le Prince Maurice in Mauritius.

‘The Prince Maurice hotel had everything! The beach was beautiful and never crowded, there were watersports, a gym, golf courses. At night the restaurant lit up the sea and I’d watch the fish swimming – I even spotted a reef shark… scary but way cool.’

She describes, ‘One night we had dinner for two on the beach lit by fire torches with countless courses.’

Perfect destination

In a round-up of idyllic honeymoon destinations Perfect Wedding Magazine recommended staying at Constance Moofushi. It described the resorts as ‘the dream combination of luxury and simplicity. Choose from villas on the dazzling white sand or standing on stilts over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.’

In another suggestion, the magazine recommended combining a South African safari with a beach holiday in Mauritius. Following the adventure of a safari it advises readers to, ‘jet on over to the ultimate honeymoon destination Mauritius for the ultimate beach hideaway at the lavish Constance Le Prince Maurice.’

Enjoy a relaxing spa day at Constance Moofushi

In its May issue, Bride Magazine recommends both Constance Halaveli and Constance Moofushi for those considering a Maldives honeymoon. It describes Halaveli as for ‘glossy types who enjoy fine wine and expect nothing less than impeccable service’ while Moofushi is perfect for ‘chilled-out honeymooners who don’t want to worry about a thing.’

Describing the villas at Halaveli, the magazine says, ‘Rooms are palatial – some of the beach villas are two stores affairs, every inch your dream beach house. Traditionally tropical, they feature high rafted ceilings, dark-wood shutters and marble floors, plus Asian accents abound. Everything is designed with grown-ups in mind. No trendy gimmicks here.’

One of the main items, which captured the reviewer’s heart at Moofushi was the U Spa. ‘As one of the smaller, more intimate islands in the Maldives, nothing is too far away… most importantly the spa! The overwater U Spa by Constance is on a jetty in the centre of the island and offers guest an oasis of calm and a wide range of indulgent treatments. Don’t miss the heavenly four hands massage, which left us so blissed-out we had to be carried to the relaxation area.’

Book your four-hands massage or any other special request before you arrive at Constance Moofushi with our online concierge service.
