2020 in review: Memorable moments from the Indian Ocean

Reading Time: 5 minutes

2020 may not have gone quite as we had all planned, but there were still some memorable moments that sparkled through the cloudy sky. While we may not have been able to physically be together, we have stayed connected during this difficult period. From a marvellous makeover to a touch of Constance at home, let us reflect on some of the special moments in 2020.

Constance Tsarabanjina‘s new look

Madagascar made that extra bit marvellous. This year we brought a touch of Robinson-Crusoe to our idyllic island. From muted tones to natural materials, the makeover aims to transport you to a deserted island, allowing you to truly disconnect from your regular life.

Enjoy unrivalled views of the Indian Ocean as you relax on natural wood, swing in wicker chairs and relax under thatched roofs. Feel truly disconnected from the real world with wifi-free spots and feel cocoon by the lush nature that surrounds us. Will you be visiting Constance Tsarabanjina in 2021?

Stunning sunsets at Constance Halaveli

For much of this year, there has been a metaphorical cloud that has hovered over us, however, there are been some burst of sunshine than has peep through. It is important to hold onto the special moments that have brought us joy and happiness, acting as a reminder of life beauty.

Constance Halaveli has been home to a number of breathtaking and awe-inspiring sunsets that have provided moments of bliss. Sunsets allow us to remember the true beauty of life, that a new day is just around the corner and that even some of the most beautiful sunsets need a cloudy sky.

Golfing across Constance Lemuria

Is there much better in life than a round of golf? Yes, a round of golf at the only 18-hole golf course in Seychelles! While indoor socialising has been paused, the luscious and vast course at Constance Lemuria has allowed guests to enjoy a moment of pure undisturbed bliss. The impressive course at Constance Lemuria has allowed visitors to release stress while looking over the idyllic view of the Indian Ocean.

Whether it was a fabulous setting to enjoying a glass of champagne or proved to be the perfect spot to catch the sunset, despite difficult times, Lemuria Golf course was able to provide some magical memories in 2020. We hope in 2021 we will be able to welcome players back and the golf course will be back in full swing.

Beach yoga at Constance Prince Maurice

The past year has been undeniably stressful for many of us, so it has been more important than ever to make time for mindfulness and exercise. Not only can yoga improve mental well-being, but it can also help improve physical health and weight loss. To help keep people healthy at home, the instructors at Constance Prince Maurice recorded a couple short yoga videos, so you can practice your downward dog at home. Why not take 90 seconds to try the below video.

From yogas to mediation, how have you stayed mindful this year?

Constance Ephelia celebrated 10 years of excellence

This year we were extremely proud to celebrate 10 blissful years of Constance Ephelia. Home to picture-perfect beaches, spacious Villas and Suites, fine dining restaurants including an award-winning wine cellar and Indian Ocean’s biggest spa village, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has made the past 10 years so magical.

The past 10 years have been full of sunshine, engagements, floating breakfasts, afternoons on the sandy beach and diving in the Indian Ocean. Will you be joining us next year?

Constance Moofushi‘s new look

How do you make paradise that extra bit vibrant? Add a splash of colour. This year has been a little grey and gloomy, so we brought all the colours of the rainbow to Constance Moofushi to brighten up the Maldives. Pops of sapphire and fuchsia complement the white sand beach and the clear blue sky, allowing a vibrant glow to spread throughout the resort.

Feel transported to an isolated paradise island as you visit the rustic totem bar. Sit on hand crafted stools and relax into wicker chairs as you sip on your favourite cocktail, while watching the ocean rush in and out of the shore. Sounds like pure bliss right?
