Taking the seaplane to Constance Halaveli and Moofushi

After a lengthy flight to get to Maldives International Airport, the thrill of taking the sea plane to reach Halaveli and Moofushi is like an elixir to the soul.

Upon arrival at the international airport, guests are welcomed by our airport team and taken to the private Constance lounge. Here you can freshen up before heading to the seaplane departure gates.

Arriving by seaplane gives you a breathtaking 360┬░ panoramic view of your resort before you arrive.

First hand account from local barefoot pilot

Here, one of the barefoot pilots, Hamdhan Mohamed, gives us an insight into this incredible experience.

As a local barefoot pilot, I may be biased when I say this but I’m always mesmerised by the beauty of the Maldives from the air. The sparkling shades of blue and jade green that capture the heart. There isn’t another place in the world that comes close to the majestic pearls of the Indian Ocean. They’re truly breathtaking.

When guests first spot Halaveli or Moofushi from the air they get very excited. Some move from one window to the other, pointing and showing the island to their family while others take out their cameras and capture the memory that way.

Total joy are the words that come to mind when I’m describing the guests’ experience of seeing the resorts from the air.
