Tiziana Cosso, founder of leading Italian lifestyle blog Della Classe, describes falling in love with Mauritius on a recent trip to Constance Belle Mare Plage.

In two blog articles, entitled Postcards from Mauritius, Cosso describes the warm welcome and friendliness of the Constance Hotels and Resorts staff as reflecting a general hospitality she felt throughout her stay on the island.

She writes, ‘The legendary hospitality of the Mauritian people is nothing but truth, they are the ones that make everything magical.’

Cosso goes on to claim that her warm welcome didn’t end with the greetings she received and she was thrilled to find flowers and treats awaiting her in her room when she arrived. ‘No detail is left to chance, but everything is studied with the wise art of hospitality.’

During her time at the resort, Cosso sampled food from four of the seven restaurants including a light sushi lunch at Indigo Beach Restaurant and a gastronomic treat at Blue Penny Café, and describes being impressed by each.

It was the resort itself which most delighted her, however, in the way in which it had been built to blend peacefully with its beautiful environment and, despite its size, still had plenty of remote spots for romantic encounters.

‘Mauritius is an island that gets into your heart,’ she concludes, ‘and this is something Constance Hotels and Resorts is well aware of because the number of loyal customers who come back year after year are growing steadily.’
