Jacky Barthelmé, of Domaine Albert Mann, will bring his passion for naturally produced, organic wine to a special wine dinner at Constance Lémuria on 3 March.
Voted Winemaker of the Year in 2012 by prestigious French wine magazine Revue du Vin de France, Barthelmé harnesses the natural environment and terroirs of the Domaine’s 21 hecters in Alsace to create, amongst others, 5 Grand Crus, a Crémant d’Alsace Brut and a range of Terroirs wines.
Historic roots
Steeped in the history of the region itself, Domaine Albert Mann is the result of a merging of two great Alsace winemaking families, Mann and Barthelmé, both of which have been producing wine in the area since the 17th Century.
Today, Jacky and Maurice Barthelmé combine traditional values of winemaking passed down for generations with the very latest advances in biodynamic viticulture to create top quality organic wines.
