Bernard Loiseau had a huge impact on the gastronomic scene during his lifetime; a creative chef pushing the boundaries to win three Michelin stars.
His legacy has been maintained by his wife Dominique, who as part of preserving his high values teamed up with Constance Hotels to host a prestigious annual culinary festival at the five-star Belle Mare Plage resort in Mauritius.
Food and travel blogger Cook Sister (Jeanne Horak-Druiff) attended the Bernard Loiseau Festival Culinaire to explore the chef’s legacy and see how the creative sparks are still flying in the kitchen.
Read her article here, which explores Loiseau’s background, his life’s work and how she recently enjoyed some culinary events with chefs that are keeping his legacy alive.
The 10th Bernard Loiseau Culinary Festival will take place from 21-28 March 2015 at Constance Belle Mare Plage resort in Mauritius.
