Wedding blogger Rebecca describes her recent visit to Constance Le Prince Maurice for a second honeymoon as one of the ‘best places we’ve ever stayed’, thanks to the beautiful setting, delicious food and excellent service but it was the elegant luxury of the resort which really made an impression.
‘Call me a snob,’ she writes, ‘but one thing I always judge a resort on is the quality and thickness of sun beds. These were the thickest cushions I’ve ever seen and you won’t find any plastic within a mile of Constance.’
Sense of Space
In her review for soyouregettingmarried.com Rebecca says she was impressed by the sense of space at the hotel, which was fully booked when she visited but never felt crowded.
She goes on to write, ‘The food really deserves a mention, the breakfast buffet had everything you could wish for with a fruit chef, egg chef and waffle/crepe chef and every night for dinner felt like we were in a top fine dining London restaurant. I was impressed with the healthy options available too and the copious amounts of fresh fish and sushi.’

When researching her trip, Rebecca says that she read countless reviews on TripAdvisor, which raved about the excellent service at Le Prince Maurice but she admits that she was a bit sceptical. ‘I thought that it couldn’t be as good as people made out but it truly was. You see the same staff everyday who all remember your name and preferences. They were all so fantastic and try and go the extra mile for you. Every day they will offer to clean your sunglasses by the pool or bring you water or fresh fruit on the beach before you even request it.’
All in all Rebecca describes her time at Le Prince Maurice as paradise. ‘We really had the best week ever and I’ve got serious holiday blues now!’ she writes. ‘It was my first time staying in a Constance resort but already I’m researching their other properties for future holidays. They would make for fantastic destination wedding locations too.’
