World champion Roger Federer played on the courts at Halaveli a couple of years ago.

Our own tennis pro, Curtis, offers lessons for beginners through to advanced players. Every Tuesday, we run a complimentary adults’ tennis clinic, including a 45-minute trial lesson. We also offer weekly children’s tennis lessons and doubles’ tournaments.

The Tennis Centre is open from 7am -10pm daily.

Kinesis is an innovative system that focuses on movement through balance, flexibility, and strength. A 1 hour session provides exercises and movements that improve strength, flexibility, and balance.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Faciliatation (PNF)

If you’re feeling a bit stiff or want to improve your flexibility, then a Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) could be just what you need. PNF offers a more advanced style of flexibility training.

Chetan also offers a group boot camp on Wednesdays, which is designed to build strength and fitness.

The Halaveli Fitness Center is open from 6 am–10pm daily and includes 2 treadmills, 2 cross trainers, 1 state of the art kinesis system, and a wide selection of weights.

The French Open 2011 is well into its second week at the Roland Garros stadium in Paris.

The men’s world no 1, Rafael Nadal is through to the semi finals and will face Andy Murray (4) on Friday 3 June.  In the other men’s semi, Roger Federer (3) comes up against Novak Djokovic (2).

In the women’s semis playing on Thursday 2 June, Maria Sharapova (7) faces Na Li (6) and Francesca Schiavone (5) will play Marion Bartoli (13).
