At Halaveli, we’ve woven luxury into the fabric of everything we do. Nature, admittedly, gave us a helping hand to create the perfect backdrop with a tranquil lagoon of turquoise waters lapping against crystal white sand beaches.

So we enhanced the beauty, with a jetty off which you’ll discover secluded water villas, a tranquil sequestered spa, and peaceful restaurants and bars in intimate settings.

Luxury accommodation

With a range of luxury accommodation including romantic water villas, large family beach villas and an expansive 5 star presidential villa, Halaveli has a deluxe offering for every kind of holiday.

Diving features high on many people’s wish list when they come to Halaveli, and the spa that offers prestigious Valmont and Ila treatments is a major draw.

Before you leave for your Indian Ocean paradise, it’s essential that you give your feet a few treatments.

1. Use a coarse-grained salt scrub twice a week in warm water to remove any hard skin.

2. Soften the skin on your feet with a thick nourishing cream, applying in circular movements until its absorbed.

3. Once you arrive at your Constance hotel, make an appointment with us at the spa and treat yourself to a foot treatment. At Constance Le Prince Maurice, the Guerlain spa offers a beauty foot break, the ultimate luxury for your feet.

5 massage therapies to soothe away stress

At Constance Hotels, we offer luxury spa treatments that help restore equilibrium and a sense of well being to your body, mind and spirit.

Luxury treatments at Spa Constance for total relaxation

Our spas provide a sanctuary in which you can escape for a while and indulge in a range of relaxing and rejuvenating health and beauty treatments.

Here’s a taste of the massage therapies on offer, guaranteed to release tension and promote relaxation.

Ayurvedic massage

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian system that aims to maintain the health of the mind and spirit, tailored to each individual depending on their dosha – vata, pitta and kapha  (or unique mix of energies).

Shirodhara and Shirobhyanga massage are two examples of this powerful massage technique that we offer. Using sesame oil and herbs, the massage therapist will focus on the marma points, similar to pressure points used in reflexology and acupuncture.

This type of massage relaxes the whole nervous system, balancing your energy and leaving you with renewed vigour.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an ancient massage technique originating from Japan. The therapist uses their thumbs to massage the acupressure points along the body’s meridians (invisible channels through which qi circulates around the body).

The massage stimulates this flow of energy around your body, leaving you feeling more balanced and in a state of total relaxation. For shiatsu massage, you lie on a futon fully dressed.

Traditional Thai massage

Traditional Thai massage combines stretching the body with deep massage along the meridian channels.

You start by lying on your back, fully clothed. The stretching techniques used by the therapist are similar to yoga but it’s the therapist who does most of the work, easing you into each position. This is combined with deep massage strokes. By the end, you’ll feel revitalized, energized and totally relaxed.

Relax in the tranquil setting of Spa Constance

Fusion massage

This massage technique combines Thai, Shiatsu and Swedish massage. It works alternately on the muscles and nervous system to soothe away stress, and leave you feeling serene and invigorated.

Sports massage

Sports massage is ideal for anyone wanting to recover from an injury or enhance their sports performance.

The technique is particularly effective if you have chronic pain or restricted movement. This is a deep massage, and the therapist will either focus on the problem area (for example frozen shoulder) or the whole body.

What our customers are saying: reviews of our luxury hotels

Lobster, luxurious food

Lobster, delicious food

A true paradise
“I spent one week at the Lemuria Resort last year and it was a true paradise. I saw a lot of 5 and even 6 star resorts in my life and this resort made it definitively in the top10.

I tried all three restaurants and the food was always delicious. The Service during my stay was on a very high level without many flaws and reflects the 6 star standard of the resort.

One of the best things about this resort is its setting: The Lemuria has 3 private (and in this case they are really private – not like the Anse Intendance of the Banyan Tree) beaches.

So is it worth the money? Yes every cent as long as you love the nature of the Seychelles. Would I recommend this resort? Yes without a doubt.”

Very Luxurious and elegant
“Le Prince Maurice is an absolutely wonderful hotel. It is stunningly beautiful as you enter its reception area and look across its infinity pool to end your gaze in its lagoon with white sand beach and calm water. Rooms are beautiful and well equipped with e.g. Mac computer (MacTV I believe).”

Golfing in Lemuria

Lumuria Golf Course

Truly relaxing!
“Right from arrival at LeMuria both my boyfriend and I were impressed with the customer service. We were greeted, bags taken straight off us and we didnt see them until we were taken (by golf buggy) to our room by member of conceirge. The room was big, with a lovely balcony and a bathroom that had shutters so you could see the TV from the bath! (a real plus by my other halfs estimation!)

Simply Perfect
“To begin with, just in a nutshell: The Constance Le Prince Maurice is simply perfect and one of the two best beach resorts, I have ever spent my vacation in. My spouse and myself stayed for one week in the Constance Le Prince Maurice in September 2009 and we loved it. Both restaurats are simply amayzing.”

Create your own luxury spa experience

spa stones

Luxury spa hot stones: don't try this at home!

Can’t wait for your luxury spa holiday to start? Just back from a luxury spa holiday and suffering withdrawal symptoms?

We’ve put together some tips for you to enjoy the pampering of a spa holiday from the comfort of your own home. Okay, so it’s not going to be quite the same exclusive experience, but it’s a start.

Preparation, preparation, preparation

If you’re going to enjoy the spa experience at home, make sure you have some time alone and that nobody is going to disturb you. This is your day and you need time to enjoy it.

Candles, bath oils, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, nail polish, nail files, face packs, bath robes, slippers – there’s a lot of planning to do to make your home spa experience complete. Preparation is everything!

Have a relaxing bath

Choose the right bath foam or oil for you – scented oil, a bath bomb, bath salts or aromatherapy oils. Why not have some scented candles in the room, or for a real sense of the luxury spa experience, use some floating candles and petals in the bath water.

Don’t rush this part of your spa experience – get a bath pillow, sit back and enjoy a precious few moments of calm. If the water cools down, top it up with more hot water and take a few more minutes.

Take a shower

Yes, you’ve had a bath, but that was for relaxation purposes. Now shower yourself off and shampoo and condition your hair. Why not choose more luxurious products that your usual ones for that extra special sheen?

While you’re relaxing, shave your legs and armpits then use a body scrub or loofah to exfoliate before using a scented bodywash before rinsing and towelling yourself down.

Cleanse, tone and moisturise

If you want to, now’s the time for a facemask. Otherwise, now you’re relaxed and clean, cleanse and tone your face. Either use your favourite cleanser and toner or get one you haven’t tried before that suits your skin type.  Now it’s time to moisturise – not just your face but your entire body. Don’t rush it – take your time and enjoy it.

Now, put on your bath robe and comfy slippers. Your ready for hair and nails.

Hair

Before getting to your hair, pluck your eyebrows while your pores are still open. Brush and style your hair – why not try something different – if you normally wear your hair up, let it down – or vice versa.

Nails

Clean off any nail polish from your hands, moisturise and file your nails before painting them. Why not choose a different shade to normal?

While your doing your finger nails, why not soak your feet in a salt water bath, before rubbing on some foot balm and painting your toe nails?

Other luxuries

Get some of your favourite magazines in – while you’re waiting for your toenails to dry, sit down with a cup of tea – or a glass of wine – and read. Enjoy the peace and quiet.
