In a glowing review of our Maldives resorts, Lisa Stokes writing in Director Magazine says Moofushi and Halaveli offer guests their own ‘little piece of paradise’.
The review, which appears in the April edition of the magazine for business leaders, describes Moofushi’s appeal as being its ‘clear turquoise waters and Crusoe-chic elegance’.
In Halaveli it’s the luxurious accommodation with private deck and pool which blew Stokes away. ‘The vast accommodation is so spectacular that you needn’t venture out.’

She did however manage to pull herself away from the luxury of her villa to sample the spas at both resorts, where she enjoyed the serene, stress-relieving environment of the tranquil treatment rooms floating on stilts above the lagoon.
Of particular note, Stokes praises the couple’s massage followed by champagne and strawberries at Moofushi, and the soothing Valmont treatments at Halaveli.
‘Each open-sided treatment room offers sea views and a glass-floor peephole so that you can spot tropical fish as any stress or tension is soothed away.’
In conclusion Stokes describes the resorts as the perfect place to ‘completely escape the stress of a busy working life.’
