Hasmita’s blog, joziliciousblog, about life in Johannesburg and her extensive travels is hugely popular.

This month she’s been raving to her readers about the friendly welcome and elegant luxury she experienced at Constance Lémuria and Constance Ephélia.

‘I’ve been fortunate enough to experience a few Indian Ocean islands. I’ve been to Zanzibar, Mozambique and Mauritius (twice!)… I stayed in 5 star properties on all the above islands, but both the setting and service of all these don’t even come close to what I experienced at Constance.’

Wine and dine with two of France’s best vineyards at Ephélia and Lémuria

Guests at Ephélia and Lémuria resort can enjoy the unique opportunity to celebrate two of France’s leading vineyards this Christmas with a specially created vineyard menu.

Nicolas Rossignol and a representative of the Gonet-Médeville vineyard will join guests at Ephelia on the 25-27 December to introduce them to some of their famous wines and champagnes. A menu has been specifically designed to compliment the famous French wines and to create a dining event not to be missed.

From a family of winemakers Nicolas Rossignol established his own estate back in 1997 in the region of Volnay using ancient winemaking techniques.

Gonet-Médeville has also stayed true to traditional growing methods in the creation of its grand cru and premier cru champagne.

Come and taste the best of the wines they have to offer at Ephélia this Christmas.

At our two Seychelles resorts, Constance Lemuria and Constance Ephelia, you’ll discover the fusion inherent in Creole cooking where traditions of many nations blend to create the distinctive dishes on offer. Influences include African, European, Chinese and Indian cuisines.

Fruits such as mango, passion fruit, banana and pineapple are combined with local fish to make light refreshing dishes while spices such as lemongrass (‘citronel’), chilli (‘pima’), and onions (la ke onyon) give the food its heat.

Fruit and spice discovery at Ephelia

Our team at Constance Ephelia are passionate about the luscious local fruits and exotic Seychellois spices served in the resort’s restaurants.
