Luxury dining
As you know, at Constance Hotels, it’s all about the luxury experience – and that extends to our dining experiences. We don’t only want you to enjoy luxury, delicious food, we want this to be an experience you’ll remember and take away with you.

For example, last week, our culinary team at Halaveli brought a touch of Italy to the Maldives, with freshly authentic Italian produce coupled with a unique buffet display.

Not content with this, we also provided our guests with further knowledge about traditional Italian cuisine so they could fully immerse themselves in the dining experience. For the buffet, we also researched and displayed interesting facts about some of Italy’s most infamous dishes.

In addition to our 3 restaurants, no visit to Halaveli would be complete without a romantic dinner on either Jahaz Beach or the reclusive Contemplative Garden.

Friday night BBQs

Friday Nights at Halaveli mean Beach BBQs! Every Friday our teams treat our guests to a casual buffet dinner on Jahaz Beach, with live music and the freshest seafood.

Bonfire on the beach

There are jazz singers, bonfires on the beach and much more.

Celebrations for everyone

The Constance Halaveli family is made up of a vast range of nationalities and cultures, so we try to embrace as many festivals and events as we can.

For example, last week, we celebrated New Year for Thailand, Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

And last Sunday, we celebrated Easter in various different ways – for example, we have a Black Pearl Hunt at the Constance Belle Mare Plage Hotel in Mauritius.

You can learn more and book online for the Constance Halaveli here.

Hunt for Black Pearls this Easter in Mauritius

Is there a clue for the pearl hunt by the pool at the Constance Belle Mare Plage?

Is there a clue for the Easter Black Pearl hunt by the pool at the Constance Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius?

Celebrating Easter at the Constance Belle Mare Plage Hotel in Mauritius isn’t all about chocolate – although of course, our fantastic culinary experts do create some wonderful desserts, chocolates and pastries for the occasion.

Even more exciting than chocolate (if that’s possible) this Easter weekend is our Black Pearl hunting extravaganza.

Designed as a fun new take on the classic Easter egg hunt, our Black Pearl hunt helps guests to explore our luxury resort, learn more about Mauritius, its history and of course enjoy themselves in the process.

The hunt will run in collaboration with Atelier by William. Participants will need to search throughout different locations in our luxury hotel resort to find answers to clues and qualify for a prize draw.

Taking place this Easter Sunday (24 April), the winners get an amazing prize of a Black Pearl worth from 10,000 to 15,000 Mauritian Rupees.

Top 3 Diving posts for April

Scuba Diving is a real passion of ours here at Constance Resorts Experience. We recently hi-lighted our Top 3 Diving Resorts in the Seychelles and now we would like to highlight some of our favourite blog posts from recent weeks on the subject of diving. Please let us know your thoughts and if you have any content you think we would be interested in please dont hesitate to get in contact with us via Twitter or in the comment section below. In no particular order here they are:

1. Scuba Guru – Expand your consciousness…Dive Anywhere

You don’t have to go on holiday to go diving. PADI’s diving guru gives a rundown of all the other places you can spend your time diving and honing your skills. Diving in your bath tub may not be the height of the scuba experience but it can start to prepare you for a luxurious diving holiday.

2. NDO to take the Dunker Challenge!

This really is extreme diving if ever I have seen it. Best of luck to Jeff Reed with his ‘Escape the Dunker’ Challenge. We wish him even more luck with his efforts in raising his goal of £1m to support the families of serving and former Royal Marines. You can donate to Jeff on his just giving page here.

3. Review: Sunnto D4 Wrist/Dive Computer

Scuba Diver Life have a great review of the Sunnto D4 Dive Computer. The perfect accessory for divers new and old. A great device for giving you all the vital information you will want to know when diving. It even tracks your dive so that you can analyse it later on your PC. I recommend watching the video for  closer look at the features on offer.

Lemuria: the only golf course in the Seychelles

Lemuria: the only golf course in the Seychelles

With Prince William and Kate Middleton rumoured to be honeymooning in the beautiful Seychelles this year, this beautiful island country is increasingly popular with those hunting for a luxury holiday destination – and that includes golf enthusiasts.

We’ve won awards for having the best golf courses in the world – and the Constance Lémuria is the only golf course in Seychelles.

This 18-hole, a Par 70, was opened on 1October 2000 and covers an area of 5580 meters. With a free green fee for hotel residents, it offers a great challenge to all levels of players, professionals and amateurs alike.

Lemuria, Seychelles: the most beautiful golf course in the world?

Lemuria: the most beautiful golf course in the world?

Many golfers have hailed Lémuria Golf Course as a golfers paradise and the most beautiful of its kind in the world – and with truly magnificent scenery spanning views of three spectacular beaches, it’s not hard to see why.

The design by internationally renowned golf architect was also influenced by Rodney Wright and the champion Marc-Antoine Farry. It incorporates a series of waterways with margins of endemic palms and broadleaf woodland.

Palm trees allow the light to intermittently filter through, fringing the first 12 holes. From the 13th hole, the course extends over the steep slopes of a thickly forested hill, with breathtaking vistas.

Anse Georgette beach welcomes you for a refreshment after the 15th hole. The club house offers restaurant bar and a boutique. Lessons, caddy player and rental equipment are also available.
