What the awards are all about
Founded in 2006, MATATO is an association of Maldives travel agents and tour operators whose aim is to promote the Maldives as a tourist destination through empowerment and cooperation. The annual travel awards are a respected way of recognising leading hospitality in a variety of categories, with the overall goal of raising Maldivian tourism service standards to ever greater heights.
